<p>การหยุดงานประท้วงว่าครั้งนี้เป็นครั้งแรกในประวัติศาสตร์ 106 ปีของนิตยสารฉบับนี้ ที่นักข่าว Forbes หยุดงานประท้วง อ้างอิงจากกลุ่ม NewsGuild of New York</p>
<p>แอนเดรีย เมอร์ฟีย์ บรรณาธิการข่าวสายสถิติของ Forbes และหัวหน้ากลุ่มสหภาพแรงงานหน่วยย่อย กล่าวว่า “ความสนใจเพียงหนึ่งเดียวของผู้บริหารคือการทำให้สิ่งต่าง ๆ ล่าช้า และถูกขัดขวาง ทั้งยังพยายามบล็อกสมาชิก (สหภาพ) ไม่ให้เคลื่อนไหวตามสิทธิ์ของสหภาพที่ได้รับการคุ้มครอง”</p>
