นำเสนอหัวข้อ "มอเตอร์ไซค์ ตีนคนไทย หัวใจญี่ปุ่น" พลวัตของการเดินทางของครอบครัวไทยทศวรรษ 2520-รัฐประหาร 2549 โดยการนำเสนอหัวข้อเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงานเสวนา "จากประวัติศาสตร์สู่อนาคต: มองความสัมพันธ์ 100 ปีไทย-ญี่ปุ่นผ่านเทคโนโลยีและสังคม" จัดโดยสถาบันนโยบายวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (มจธ.) ร่วมกับคณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ และศูนย์ญี่ปุ่น-อาเซียนศึกษา สถาบันเอเชียศึกษา จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย วันที่ 17 มี.ค. 2568</p><p>"สำหรับผม รถจักรยานยนต์ถือว่าเป็นตีนของคนไทย หรือตีนของคนต่างจังหวัดด้วยซ้ำ เพราะสมัยก่อนคนที่ใช้มอเตอร์ไซค์เป็นคนต่างจังหวัด ในขณะที่คนกรุงเทพฯ ขนส่งสาธารณะดี และคนที่ใช้มอเตอร์ไซค์ คือตีนที่จะพาคนไปส่งอีกทีหนึ่ง แม้ว่าจะเป็นตีนของคนไทย แต่ว่าโดนละเลยในเชิงนโยบายและในการสนับสนุนผู้ขับขี่ ซึ่งตรงกันข้ามกับการสนับสนุนผู้ผลิต และผู้จัดจำหน่ายที่เป็นบริษัททางญี่ปุ่นหรือต่างประเทศหรืออะไรก็แล้วแต่
