หลังจบการศึกษาด้านศิลปะจากวิทยาลัย เพาะช่าง ด้วยทุนของ ม.ร.ว.คึกฤทธิ์ ปราโมช และฝรั่งต่างชาติ ที่พานพบกันริมถนน เพียงเพราะชื่นชมในผลงานศิลปะ

ได้เริ่มทำงานเป็นครูสอนศิลปะในโรงเรียนนานาชาติ ด้วยเงินเดือน 50,000 บาท ปี พ.ศ. 2528 รายได้ทั้งหมด ถูกนำไปปรนเปรอความสุข ด้วยกิเลสและตัญหา

เเต่หลังจากเกิดอุบัติเหตุในชีวิต จนได้คิดจากประโยคที่ว่า "วันเวลาที่ผ่านมา บัดนี้เธอทำอะไร ดีหรือชั่ว" จึงทำให้เกิดพุทธิปัญญา หาความหมายการ "ตั้งอยู่" ของหนึ่งชีวิตที่ผ่านดีและชั่วมามากมาย จนตัดสินใจทิ้งทุกอย่าง ของโลกโลกียะ เพื่อมุ่งสู่โลกโลกุตระ สู่เส้นทางเเห่งนิพพาน ที่หลายคนบอกว่า "บ้า" บนโลกธรรม
